Terms & Conditions
Public Liability Insurance: All individuals/businesses hiring Soul Space Studio must hold current public liability insurance.
Bond: A refundable* bond of $100 is required to secure your event at the time of making your booking.
*Bond will be fully refunded after your event as long as the space is left clean and undamaged*
Payment, Deposit, Cancellation and Refund policies:

Payment - Due to high demand, bookings can not be confirmed until full payment is made (including bond). Booking hire invoices are to be paid within 24 hours of receipt. Once your payment has been received, your event will be confirmed in our bookings calendar and promoted on our website and socials.
We can not confirm bookings until payment for your event has been made in full.

Cancellation - If cancellation is required within 28 days of your event, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. We require this time to re-book the space and allow a new facilitator the time to advertise their event - however we are happy to accommodate your event by rescheduling to another available date.

Rescheduling - If required to reschedule your event, a minimum of 7 DAYS notice is required and a $40 admin fee will be charged for our time to re-advertise your event.
Cleaning fee: A fee of $60 will be incurred if the space is left dirty (for example dishes not washed up/left in sink, floor not swept if needed, rubbish not removed etc (this fee will be deducted from the bond payment).
Property damage: Any damage incurred to walls, paint, floors, windows, or any fixtures or fittings or property within the space will be charged to you accordingly.
*Bond will be returned by direct deposit into a nominal bank account by the end of the following week when you have no future bookings in the calendar. Hire space and equipment will be inspected as soon as possible after the event. The cost of any damages, breakages, missing items or extra cleaning will be deducted from the bond. If the cost is greater than the bond, an invoice will be issued to the hirer, stating date, action taken and cost outstanding. Invoice terms are payable within seven (7) days.
First Aid Certificate: A current First Aid Certificate is required by all facilitators hosting yoga and breathwork classes. (if you do not hold a current first aid certificate, we run regular first aid classes via A Grade First Aid on site - you can enrol here: www.agradefirstaid.com.au
Candles, Incense, Sage and flammable items: Strictly NO candles or flammable items (including gas) are to be used at our space. Please use battery powered candles, fairy lights etc.
Kids: We LOVE kids (and have 3 of our own), however, our space does not have a creche and is not suitable for children.
LEAVING THE BUILDING

Ensure the air conditioning, fans and all lights are turned OFF (please turn air con off at the mains power near the kitchen)

Ensure all windows are closed and locked.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring the room is left in a clean and tidy condition. This includes the floor, toilets and kitchen. Basic cleaning equipment will be provided by Soul Space (vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, bucket, dustpan and brush).

All kitchenware must be washed and returned to the appropriate cupboard. Benches and sinks must be cleaned.

All rubbish must be removed from the premises and disposed of by the hirer. We do NOT provide bins on-site.

On completion of the activities, toilets are checked for cleanliness and any attendees have all left the building, before locking front door. Failure to correctly secure the building, may result in a non refundable bond.

Changes to Terms & Conditions: Soul Space Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website (above). Your continued use of our space constitutes acceptance of these changes.
